Rackmount installations are convenient and flexible, but unfortunately, standard 19 inch racks take up a lot of room. Since smaller vessels do not have the luxury of extra space, but still need reliable and easily installed computer systems, MarineNav Ltd developed the Barracuda series. Our proprietary 12” rack uses a fraction of the space 19” racks require, but provides a robust framework and ease of installation.
Installations frequently require additional hardware beyond the computers. To allow ease of expansion within your Barracuda Rack system, we developed the Barracuda ACC Accessory Tray. Designed to hold external power supplies, voltage regulators, networking hardware, and other components, Barracuda ACC trays easily expand the capabilities of your Barracuda Rack.
Designed with the same rugged yet compact functionality and style as the Barracuda 1 computer, and available in 1U and 2U heights, with larger sizes available upon request, the Barracuda ACC is the perfect companion to your Barracuda computers. Options include your choice of stainless steel or powder coated aluminum faceplate, and integrated PSU to provide clean power for accessories at 12VDC and 5VDC.
